ŽIGONIS ROLANDAS
Malarz sztuki współczesnej, zamieszkały w Wilnie, Litwa. Studiował malarstwo i
renowację obrazów. Swoją karierę rozpoczął jako dyrektor jednej z czołowych
Litewskich agencji reklamowych. Po 6 latach w przemyśle kreatywnym,
poszukiwania sensu i wiedzy wyniosły go ze świata korporacji do podróży poprzez Andy i Amazonkę.
Contemporary painter based in Vilnius, Lithuania. Trained in painting and painting restoration, he began his professional career as an art director in one of Lithuania’s leading advertising agencies. After six years in the creative industry, a deep search for meaning and self-knowledge led him away from the corporate world and into extensive travels through the Andes and the Amazon rainforest. These transformative journeys profoundly shaped his artistic vision and awakened a lasting fascination with the relationship between nature, consciousness, myth, and the unseen dimensions of experience.
Working through an intuitive and exploratory process, Žigonis approaches painting as a journey into the unknown. His compositions emerge organically, guided by abstract expression, dream imagery, and the unfolding logic of the painting itself. Drawing inspiration from mythology, archetypes, and the collective unconscious, he creates surreal worlds that invite contemplation and inner reflection. His paintings serve as visual sanctuaries—spaces where viewers can reconnect with the symbolic language of myths, metaphors, and the deeper layers of human experience.
